FIELD: heat-power engineering; manufacture of steam boilers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed platen heating surface includes main heat exchange coils, inlet and outlet manifolds and binding coils which are brought out of plane of platen heating surface to opposite sides, thus forming sections located perpendicularly relative to main heat exchange coils; perpendicular sections of each pair of binding coils located on opposite sides of heating surface are mounted at shift relative to each other along axis of tubes at distance of H>2xD, where D is diameter of tube; they are fastened by means of lock made from bent sections of main heat exchange coils.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability; avoidance of damage to heating surface; low cost of repair and operation.
