SUBSTANCE: milling cutter includes cutting teeth, chip grooves forming front surfaces of teeth blades provided with band along rear face. In order to provide possibility for reversing milling, blades are arranged at both sides of teeth and they have common rear surface joined with bands. Chip grooves may be symmetrical or asymmetrical and they may have different profiles of lateral walls.

EFFECT: improved design, possibility for reversing milling.
