FIELD: transport engineering; cross-country vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel contains wide cross-section tire mounted on rim provided detachable bead rings with seat flanges for tire beads, tire bead inwards displacement limiters carrying threaded bead ring fasteners. Tire can be either tube tire with nipple (first version) or tubeless (second version), both of spherical form with one side hole. Spherical disk of wheel with hub and wheel fastening unit and bead ring are made each with seat flange corresponding to size and direction of wheel tire bead with possibility of clamping tire bead in between by tightening wheel disk and bead ring through their round edges on inner surfaces of wheel disk and bead ring for aligning bead hole of tire relative to wheel disk before tightening of bolts.
EFFECT: reduced weight of vehicle, increased floatability, resistance to shocks at running on obstacle and at side impacts.
