FIELD: organic chemistry, polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for inhibition of overgrowing substrate in medium overgrowing with marine organisms. Method involves a coating on substrate before keeping in the indicated medium involving fluorinated resin that is able to hardening of the general formula: W-L-YFC-O-Rf-CFY-L-W wherein W represents group of the formula: -Si(R1)α(OR2)3-α wherein α = 0, 1 or 2 but preferably α = 0; R1 and R2 represent independently linear or branched (C1-C6)-alkyl groups comprising optionally one or some simple ether groups, or (C7-C12)-aryl or alkyl group but preferably R1 and R2 represent (C1-C4)-alkyl groups; L represents an organic binding group; Y represents fluorine atom (F) or CF3; Rf represents group of average molecular mass in the range from 250 to 8000 Da but preferably in the range from 500 to 3000 Da comprising repeating fragments comprising at least one of the following structures distributed disorderedly along the chain: -CFXO, -CF2CF20-, -CF2CF2CF2O-, -CF2CF2CF2CF2O-, -CR4R5CF2CF2O-, -(CF(CF3)CF2O)-, -CF2CF(CF3)O- wherein X represents F or CF3; R4 and R5 represent independently hydrogen atom (H), chlorine atom (Cl) or (C1-C4)-perfluoroalkyl. Invention provides preparing a coating with sufficient mechanical strength and the composition with good indices against overgrowing.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition.
