FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for testing items working under excess pressure. Item is connected to bubble chamber by means of drainage tube. The gas is applied to the item under pressure and leakage is estimated by intensity of emergence of bubbles in liquid of chamber after stabilization of the system. Formation of calibrated volume of gas bubbles is provided due to the fact that end of drainage tube submerged into liquid (according to two proposed versions of invention) has flat edge being perpendicular to axis of tube. End of tube is curved in such a way that edge disposed at fixed angle of 0≤α≤90° to surface of liquid. End of drainage tune can also dispose in vertical to have flat edge being inclined at fixed angle of 0≤β≤90° to axis of tube. Value of leakage is determined as product of calibrated volume of as bubble by number of bubbles emerging during unit of time.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of finding leakage.
