FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: leakage test is performed at two stages: at the first stage, weight of a single bubble is determined, and at the second stage, the number of gas bubbles is determined, which leaves the tested item per unit of time, which characterises the value of the item leakage at known weight of one bubble.

EFFECT: higher leakage test accuracy of the item by creating a sequence of operations allowing definite determination of leakage of tested items at the specified test pressure under various environmental conditions at different properties of liquid in a bubble chamber irrespective of a drain tube design.
