FIELD: passive methods of protection of radars against homing weapon, in particular, against anti-radar misiles equipped with passive radar homing heads.
SUBSTANCE: in the known method of radar protection against anti-radar missiles detection of anti-radar missile, prediction of the trajectory of its motion are included, the result is based on the use of signals reflected from passive radio wave reflectors according to the invention, the clouds of radar-reflective dipole reflectors are used as passive ratio wave reflectors, at least one cloud of radar-reflective dipoles is produced in such a manner that the predicted trajectory of the anti-radar missile would pass above part of the cloud reflectors in the immediate closeness-from them at a distance providing reflection of the signal of the anti-radar missile altimeter.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of radar protection against the anti-radar missiles.
