FIELD: building and measuring equipment, particularly for temperature measuring based on the expansion or contraction of a material.

SUBSTANCE: method involves prior forming composite elements, namely body, tank with thermometric liquid; creating scale on the body and producing capillary pipe with inlet; connecting above components by establishing air-tight communication of capillary pipe inlet with thermometric liquid and by arranging tank with thermometric liquid and capillary pipe inside the body; providing thermometer with support and fastening means; connecting body to support with the use of fastening means, wherein article with support and fastening means are formed as monument and fastening member is made as post, U-shaped member, washers, damper, fixer with end and central parts and as fastening members; connecting the posts to U-shaped member; arranging end parts of the fixer on the posts; connecting washers adapted to retain damper one to another; securing washers to U-shaped member through fastening members. Thermometer comprises body, tank with thermometric liquid, scale formed on the body, capillary pipe with inlet communicated in air-tight manner with thermometric liquid. The tank and capillary pipe are installed in the body. Thermometer is provided with support and fastening means. The body is secured to support by the fastening means. The fastening means includes post, U-shaped member, washers, dampers, fixer with end and central parts and fastening members. Posts are connected to U-shaped member. Fixer ends are connected to posts. Washers adapted to hold damper are connected one to another and to U-shaped member through fastening members.
