FIELD: process and constructions for manufacture of measuring instruments, in particular, thermometers for measuring temperature of liquid, bulk and pasty substances.
SUBSTANCE: thermometer has casing, reservoir and capillary elongated cavities communicating with one another, indicator medium having volume variable under the action of temperature and placed in reservoir cavity for displacement along capillary elongated cavity, and scale positioned along capillary elongated cavity. Said scale and capillary elongated cavity are positioned so as to be suitably viewed. Casing is made in the form of reservoir for liquid, bulk or pasty substance having inner cavity with wall or enclosure so that said substance may be placed into inner cavity of reservoir or thermometer may be placed in substance. Reservoir and capillary elongated cavities are provided within wall or enclosure.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider range of measuring instruments manufactured through the use of method.
