FIELD: oil producing industry; pumping units.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic machine building, namely, to modular-type multistage electric pumping units by means of which oil or water can be lifted from wells, holes, etc. Proposed submersible electric pumping unit contains submersible electric motor and modular-type submersible multistage pump coupled with motor. Impellers with accelerating hydraulic heads are installed on shaft in pump housing. Heads are made conical and radial. Each module accommodates additionally cup whose bottom is rigidly connected with impeller, and side surface is arranged with clearance relative to edge of impeller and housing of module.
EFFECT: building of maximum kinetic energy of liquid flow and its conversion into potential energy at higher efficiency as compared with known equipment.
