FIELD: transportation of liquid, gaseous, steam-as and suspensions and gas-powder mixes; building of vacuum in processing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: proposed swirl jet device has housing consisting of cylindrical-conical contraction neck and diffuser with nozzle in form of cylindrical tube installed coaxially with contraction and connected with axial branch pipe. Second branch pipe is made tangentially to contraction in its wider part. Angle of opening of contraction is 10-40°, angle of opening of diffuser is 4-30°. Tip of nozzle is made narrowing. Guide bushing is arranged in conical part of contraction, being connected to contraction by means of blades bent to lines of swirled flow. Axial branch pipe is connected to movable plate which can be displaced axially by adjusting mechanism. Nozzle-to-contraction cover joint is sealed by one or several sealing rings, and bellows is connected by sealed joint to movable plate and contraction cover. Method of operation of swirl jet device is as follows: according to first version operating flow is fed into tangential branch pipe, and injected flow is sucked through axial branch pipe connected with nozzle. Axial position of nozzle is set so that its tip is in zone of lowest pressure. According to second design version, operating flow is fed into axial branch pipe connected with nozzle, and injected flow is sucked through tangential branch pipe.
