FIELD: blasting, applicable for crushing of hard rocks at breaking of roads and in construction, for destruction of large objects, for example, at cutting out of concrete building structures into fragments, etc.

SUBSTANCE: the offered explosive charge contains bilk granular porous ammonia nitrate impregnated by hydrocarbon-type fuel, and a means of initiation, made in the form of a sealed casing of polymeric envelope up to 3 mm thick and with a diameter smaller than the critical diameter of detonation of explosive. Additionally the charge contains from 0.1 to 50% by weight of the total explosive weight promoter of convective burning consisting of a mixture finely divided components: powder of metal, for example, aluminium with a size pf particles up to 500 μm in stoichiometric relationship. The means of initiation is positioned in the mass of the charge and made for provision of a quick convective burning. Offered is also the method for conducting of blasting operations including the arrangement of the claimed charge in the hole, sealing of the hole and combustion of the charge, in which the sealing of the hole is effected by filling the gap between the body of the charge and the walls of the hole with dry sand or water with a subsequent filling in of the hole with tamping of sand, and the combustion of the charge is conducted in the conditions of quick convective burning by supplying a high-voltage electric pulse to the means of initiation.

EFFECT: reduced labour content of blasting, reduced noise and intensity of seismic wave.
