FIELD: tire industry; testing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at stand tests of tires for determining stresses when tire tread comes in contact with support surface. Proposed device contains interacting measuring elements for determining vertical, cross and longitudinal stresses when said element of tire tread is in contact with support surface. Said elements are designed for connection with tire tread. Measuring elements are made in form of upper band enclosing tire tread and equipped with strain-gauge transducers and vertical bars with strain-gauge transducers, and lower band. Vertical bars are provided with stops engaging with lower band.
EFFECT: improved reliability and accuracy of measurements of stresses in three directions at contact of tire tread element with support surface.
