FIELD: electrical engineering; safety ground.
SUBSTANCE: proposed safety ground electrode is double-zone device that has current lead-in covered with upper-zone moisture-proof sheath. Metal current lead-in is in direct contact with ground waters and is disposed in borehole whose casing tube is made of insulating material; ceramic bushing insulator is fitted in upper part of borehole to prevent potential escape to ground surface.
EFFECT: improved design, enhanced conducting properties and safety in operation.
