FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in harvesting of cereals and leguminous crops.
SUBSTANCE: stalk lifter has multiple-thread screws mounted in row in front of header. Outer diameter of helical protrusions of each screw is equal to or greater than center-to-center distance between adjacent screws. Lower ends of screw coils are made crescent-like. Coiling of screw upper parts are directed to side opposite to direction of coiling on remaining portion of screw.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing lifting and retaining of all stalks before said stalks are to be cut, and, accordingly, reduced grain loss behind header.
