FIELD: production of school furniture, in particular, orthopedic desk used in educational and preschool institutions, as well as in home conditions.
SUBSTANCE: orthopedic desk has sides, to which table and seat are fixed. Seat is slightly inclined in forward direction. Knee rest is fixed under table for preventing sitting person from sliding off. While sitting on inclined surface, sitting person has to straighten his back involuntarily for keeping equilibrium. Mutual arrangement of seat, knee rest and angle of inclination is selected so that spine of person sitting at the desk acquires natural curvature free of strain.
