MANIPULATING ROBOT FOR PAINTING ARTICLES Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2263020 C2

FIELD: industrial robotics, namely manipulating robots used in manufacturing conveyer lines for paining articles.

SUBSTANCE: manipulating robot includes vertical column with two pairs of guides, working carriage with hands, counter-weight carriage, chain drive unit with sprockets, reduction motor and potentiometer unit for detecting positions of carriages. Column is in the form of two rectangular tubes mounted in such a way that their common diagonal is normal to plane of working carriage. Driven sprocket of chain transmission is mounted in slit of tubes along their common diagonal in bearing assemblies secured to lateral sides of tubes by means of axle parallel to plane of working carriage. Working carriage is mounted on wheels with rims; wheels are inclined by 45° relative to plane of working carriage and engage with front tube of column. Counter-weight carriage is mounted on wheels having triangular cross section grooves with apex angle 90° and engaging with top parts of cross section of second rectangular tube of column in plane parallel to plane of working carriage.

EFFECT: lowered basing errors of assembling carriages and bearing assembly of upper sprocket, lowered size of column.
