FIELD: manufacture of building materials, thermal and sound insulating material for industrial lines, thermal units, guard structures and heat-insulated articles.

SUBSTANCE: proposed mixture contains sodium water glass, sodium fluosilicate, sodium hydrate and siliceous element; it additionally contains aluminum powder, portland cement, water; used as siliceous element is non-ground quartz sand and ground quartz sand or non-ground quartz sand and ground chamotte or non-ground quartz sand and micro-silica at the following ratio of components, mass-%: sodium water glass, 27-33; sodium fluosilicate, 2.5-4.8; siliceous element, 38-44; aluminum powder, 1.1-1.2; sodium hydrate, 2.7-33; portland cement, 11.5-13.8; water, 8-13. Non-ground quartz sand and ground quartz sand are used at ratio of from 1:2 to 1:3 by mass; modulus of size of non-ground quartz sand is equal to 0.5-1.2 and fineness of grinding of ground quartz sand is characterized by specific surface of 250-350 m²/kg. Non-ground quartz sand and ground chamotte are used at ratio of from 1:2 to 1:3.59 by mass; non-ground quartz sand and micro-silica are used at ratio of from 1:1 to 1:2 by mass.

EFFECT: reduction of average density of heat-insulating material; facilitated procedure of manufacture.
