FIELD: protection of metals against atmospheric corrosion by means of inhibitors; long-term preservation of metalwork and articles made from ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
SUBSTANCE: proposed corrosion inhibitor contains product of condensation of boric acid with diethanol amine and vegetable oil at mole ratio of components 1:3(0.5-0.7), respectively 10-16 mass-% and mineral oil up to 100 mass-%. Proposed inhibitor makes it possible to protect metalwork against atmospheric corrosion for at least 3 years.
EFFECT: extended field of application; enhanced corrosion resistance of articles made from ferrous and no-ferrous metals.
