METAL CORROSION INHIBITOR Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C23F11/00

Abstract RU 2303652 C1

FIELD: protection of metals from atmospheric corrosion by means of inhibitors used for prolonged corrosion proofing of equipment in various branches of industry including food-processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: inhibitor contains boric acid condensation product with diethanol amide and castor oil at molar ratio of reactants (0.6-0.8):3:2, respectively - 19-25 wt% and castor oil up to 100 wt%. Utilization of inhibitor allows industrial equipment to be protected from atmospheric air for at least 3.5 years.

EFFECT: wider range of utilization and enhanced corrosion protecting properties.
