FIELD: ramjet engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed variable-geometry air intake for supersonic combustion ramjet engine includes at least one section of combustion chamber, and its design version, group of sections of combustion chamber, each section of combustion chamber has two side walls with central part of definite thickness with wedge-like profile located before said central part and provided with sharp front edge. Each section of combustion chamber contains lower wall and movable fairing door located before said lower wall and provided with front edge. Wedge-like profile of each outer side wall, according to one design version, is provided with outer surface with first part of wall located in first plane, and second part of wall arranged with tilting inwards relative to first part, and inner surface. The latter contains third part of wall arranged mainly parallel to said first part of wall, and fourth part of wall arranged with outward tilting relative to third part.
EFFECT: simplified design of air intake.
