FIELD: investigating or analyzing materials.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises measuring unit made of a balance, tank filled with fluid, porous diaphragm that simulates the wetted surface and is mounted in a tank made of interconnected vessels filled with fluid whose outer level provides the fluid to flow along the capillaries of the diaphragm up to the wetted surface. The tank with the diaphragm is mounted on the area of the lifting device made for permitting reciprocation and stop upon the contact with the wetted surface of the diaphragm provided with a specimen of the fiber textile material to be tested, which is connected with the measuring device through the fastening member.
