SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and engineering and can be used to measure electrode potentials, to detect micro- and macroscopic discontinuities in coatings on metals in various products, studying the electrochemical corrosion of dissimilar materials in interaction with the environment, ensuring the corrosion resistance of metals and welded joints. A device for measuring electrode potentials on a metal surface comprises an electrode assembly including a reference electrode (1) of noble metal, which is placed in a flexible tube (2) of dielectric material filled with fibrous fiberglass material (3); holder (4) of the electrode assembly tube; load area (5); load (6); the electrolyte supply adjustment tap (7); a tube (8) for supplying the electrolyte to the microcapillary; electrolyte (9); capacity (10) for the electrolyte; a tripod (11); a device (12) for fixing the vessel to the electrolyte; a computer monitor (13); device (14) for vertical movement of the electrode assembly; a video camera (15); millivoltmeter (16); table (17); coordinate table (18); micrometric limbs (19) and (20) for moving the table; an insulating spacer (21); the test sample (22).

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of local measurement of electrode potentials on metal surfaces with structural and chemical heterogeneity in small areas and individual structural components of the material.
