FIELD: medicine, laboratory diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting gestosis development in the 3d trimester of pregnancy. At the terms of 6-13 wk of gestation one should detect the activity of cathepsin D in peripheral venous blood and at its value being either equal or above 0.021 U/h one should predict gestosis development in the 3d trimester. The innovation provides prediction of gestosis development since the early terms of pregnancy.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
