FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: diagnosing severe late gestosis is ensured by biochemical ELISA blood assay of a pregnant woman on her third trimester to determine the concentration of leptin and ghrelin hormones in venous blood. If observing the concentration of blood serum leptin hormone more than 37.89 ng/ml in a combination with decreasing the concentration of blood plasma ghrelin hormone less than 0.26 ng/ml, severe gestosis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides more reliable diagnosis of severe gestosis to determine an approach to pregnancy management.
