FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming layer of leaves between surfaces of flexible air-permeable material; forming layer of tobacco leaves during laying thereof between internal and external surfaces of one and the same material by winding it into roll and tightening material for providing fixation of leaves in predetermined position. Material has rough surface with rest friction coefficient of 0.9-1.2 and possesses hygroscopic properties.
EFFECT: provision for partial additional drying and fatigue of tobacco leaves in roll.
