SUBSTANCE: aperture defining mechanism designed for jacquard type weaver's machine comprises movable hooks, each being moved by knife from upper dead point position, wherein or in the vicinity thereof each of hooks may be stopped by means of selective device, to lower dead point position. Each hook comprises body with tip adapted for abutment against said knife. Each hook is additionally equipped with metal plate adapted for cooperation with selective device and secured on body in its zone opposed to selective device for deviation relative to body, in particular, relative to body portion, wherein said tip is provided.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and increased efficiency.
