SUBSTANCE: gap forming mechanism has segment, computing unit, gap wave register with outputs, with number of outputs corresponding to that of heddle sections in spinning machine gap wave, decoder of gap wave register, information input and output panel, key units for heddle sections electromagnets, extreme position sensors for heddle section drive cutters, with number of sensors being equal to that of heddle sections. Extreme position sensor outputs and information input and output panel are connected to computing unit. Record gating output of computing unit is connected to enable input of gap wave register decoder. Address outputs of computing unit are connected to gap wave register decoder input and to key units. Data outputs of computing unit are connected to wave register inputs and to key units. Gap wave register decoder output is connected to enable input of gap wave register record. Gap wave register outputs are connected to key unit inputs. Key unit has data registers, key modules and electromagnets of heddle sections, with number of electromagnet sections being equal to that of key modules. Data register decoder inputs are connected to address outputs of computing unit. Gating record output of computing unit is connected to enable input of data registers decoder. Data register decoder outputs are connected to enable inputs of data registers record. Data registers inputs are connected to computing unit data outputs. Data registers outputs are connected to key module inputs. Thus, each heddle section is provided with related key module and key register.
