FIELD: railway transport; permanent way; automatic control and signaling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to system of automatic control of switch electric drives in shunting area. Proposed system employs buttless voice-frequency track circuits and radio sensors coupled with single-command remote control channel and device monitoring train speed in limited communication zones and with shunting cab signaling devices. System implements control of switch change-over process at shunting without assistance of operators and without turning over duties of operator to driver or shunter.
EFFECT: increased running safety, capacity, labor efficiency and safety of drivers and shunters.
