METHOD FOR INITIATION OF BURST OF GUIDED ARTILLERY PROJECTILE AND GUIDED ARTILLERY PROJECTILE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2265188 C2

FIELD: anti-tank missile weapon.

SUBSTANCE: automatic accumulation of energy in the war blast circuit is accomplished before the moment impact of the projectile with the target, and formation of the detonation pulse after the impact of the projectile with the target. The duration of the detonation pulse is set shorter or equal to the value equal to the quotient from division of the projectile velocity at the instant of impact with the target by the value of the clearance between the body-deflector of the projectile nose and the leading charge. According to the invention, the guided artillery projectile has a nose made in the form of a body-deflector, with the explosive leading charge positioned inside it with the safety-actuating mechanism made on the basis of the electric initiation circuit designed for control of the electric detonator and including the blast warhead with a head contact, power source. The blast warhead is provided with a gate, and the power source in it is made in the form of a doubled voltage circuit made of two mid-point power sources. The safety-actuating mechanism is provided with a reservoir capacitor and an integrating resistor, the negative output of the doubled voltage circuit via the integrating resistor is connected to one of the leadouts of the reservoir capacitor and electrodetonator, the second leadout of the reservoir capacitor is connected to the positive output of the doubled-voltage circuit and to the anode of the electronic gate, whose cathode is connected to the electrodetonator, and the control electrode - to the head contact.

EFFECT: enhanced combat efficiency of the projectile.
