FIELD: artillery shells with a controlled remote blast ignition from the effect of an external source.
SUBSTANCE: the artillery ammunition with of controlled initiation has a body, filling, fuse containing a transducer, protective and actuating mechanisms, and a fuse remote control unit coupled to the power supply source composed of a time code device receiver with a decoder and a delay unit connected in series. The body accommodates a small-caliber shell spinning speed transducer engageable with the earth's magnetic field, the transducer is made mainly in the form of a magnetometer that is connected to the delay unit via the counter of the preset quantity of pulses coupled to the decoder of the receiving device. The actual muzzle velocity of each shell is determined indirectly, according to it, the range (time) of faze initiation is controlled, which causes a multiple reduction of the error of the shell blast range.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of remote blast initiation.
