FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with studying metabolic values for calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg) per a unit of expired air. In children and teenagers at compensated form of chronic tonsillitis it is necessary to mention the main characteristic feature being an affected calcium-magnesium exchange detected in increased magnesium level up to 2.68±0.11 mcg/ml at the background of increased calcium level up to 0.088±0.0022 mM/l against healthy children; in children and teenagers at decompensed form of tonsillitis the main characteristic sign is decreased magnesium level up to 1.52±0.11 mcg/ml at the background of increased calcium level that enables to perform differential diagnostics of both compensated and decompensed forms of chronic tonsillitis. The innovation provides the simplicity of differentiating technique.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
