FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for differential diagnostics of forms of chronic tonsillitis. Raman-fluorescence spectrometry is used for this purpose. Tissues of palatine tonsil tissue and patient's blood spectra are obtained. If palatine tonsil spectrums contain the main Raman peaks on values of wave numbers: 831, 1029, 1148, 1214, 1337, 1368, 1538, 1636, 2604, 2938, 3171, 3259 cm-1 in combination with main peaks at wavenumber values: 1354, 1469, 3580 cm-1, obtained on blood spectra of the same patient, conclude that there is a compensated form of chronic tonsillitis. If observing palatal tonsils of the main peaks at 1150, 1515 cm-1, and on blood spectra of the same patient the main peaks at 478, 672, 751, 997, 1002, 1151, 1217, 1349, 1512, 1635, 2308, 2888, 3170 cm-1 concluding presence of decompensated form of chronic tonsillitis. For differentiation of forms of chronic tonsillitis, Raman spectra are treated by projection methods on latent structures by linear discriminant analysis of Savitzky—Golay and reference line correction using asymmetric least squares. Most informative Raman scattering bands are 573 cm-1, 1092 cm-1.

EFFECT: invention provides differential diagnostics of chronic tonsillitis.
