FIELD: cold rolling of metals.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on use of water lubricant containing mixture (1) on base of acid selected from saturated or non-saturated acids containing 5 to 40 atoms of carbon, one ester of phosphoric acid of formula [R(OA)y]x-P(=O)(OH)x' where R are similar or different hydrocarbon radicals containing 1 to 30 atoms of carbon; A are similar or different linear or branched alkylene radicals containing 2 to 4 atoms of carbon; average magnitude "y" ranges from 0 to 100; "x" and "x'" are equal to 1 or 2 , provided x+x'=3; carboxylic acid and/or ester of phosphoric acid may be neutralized by organic or inorganic base; natural or synthetic wax (2) whose melting point is higher than or equal to 50°C at average size of particles from 0.5 to 10 mcm. It is good practice that mixture contains at least one metal in form of polyvalent ion and entire system is in form of laminated crystallites at length of from 0.1 to 100 mcm, width of from 0.5 to 30 mcm and thickness of from 5 to 200 nm containing deposition of organic phases (O) and aqueous solution (B) in form of succession O/[B/O]n where n is integer different from 0; thickness of deposition ranges from 5 to 200 nm; organic phases contain mixture (1) and said metal.
EFFECT: increased productivity by at least 15%.
