FIELD: the invention refers to machinery particular to sealing technique and may be used in pressurizing devices of hydraulic and gas apparatus.
SUBSTANCE: the pressurizing device has a sealing ring with a wall and a compressing sponge, an element drawing in the compressing sponge to pressurized surface and a back ring with a wall installed motionlessly relatively to the sealing ring with formation of a cavity for the element drawing the pressurized sponge and the back ring installed on it with a support in the wall. The percentage of the thickness of the pressurized sponge to its length is no more than 1:3.
EFFECT: increases reliability, longevity and manufacturability of the pressurizing device.
