SUBSTANCE: sealing device comprises sealing and guiding members made of a single cylindrical bushing made of a polymeric composition material and interposed between unmovable and movable members of the device and load-bearing member that presses the sealing member to the surface to be sealed and made of a ring which has round cross-section and made of a flexible material. The cylindrical bushing is provided with the sealing jaw whose thickness-length ratio is no more than 1:3. The diameter of the cross-section of the lead-bearing member ranges from 1.0 to 1.2 of the length of the sealing jaw. The ratio of the jaw length to the length of the cylindrical bushing is no more than 1:4. The ratio of the thickness of the jaw to the thickness of the wall of the bushing is no more than 1:2. The load-bearing member and cylindrical bushing are fit in the bore of the movable member with interference.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
