FIELD: IR-engineering.
SUBSTANCE: optical unit can be used for protection of different kinds of rooms to prevent trespassing. Device has IR-radiation receiver and optical elements array disposed regularly onto at least three surfaces which are oriented at obtuse angle to each other and are optically conjugated with IR-radiation receiver. Optical elements are disposed at any surface of array in rows. They are conjugated with their unique areas of detection and have like focal lengths for elements belonging to the same row but different focal lengths for elements disposed at different rows. Surfaces of array of optical elements corresponding to far and medium areas of detection are made non-spherical. Surface of array which corresponds to near area of detection is made in form of flat surface. Trespasser can be detected at any distance from the device within total area of detection and angle of coverage.
EFFECT: improved reliability of detection.
