SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alarms intended for detecting a violation object penetrating through the detection zone of the guard line and triggering the alarm system triggered by the fact that the object was violated by the violation of the detection zone during the crossing the violation of this protection line by the object. Intelligent passive infrared detection means (IPIDM) consists of an optical system that forms two divergent sectors of the detection zone displaced in space relative to one another, an infrared sensor with the first and the second pyroelectric elements, two analog channels, an AND element, an OR element, a processor and a radio modem. Each analog channel contains a bandpass filter, an amplifier, a rectifier and a comparator.

EFFECT: possibility of limiting the range and obtaining information about the distance to the violation place, the transverse size of the violation object, the speed and direction of its movement through the guarded boundary, the possibility of limiting the range of action allows to enhance the noise immunity of the intelligent passive infrared detection means, which excludes the presence of false positives due to temperature changes and solar flare over the boundary areas of sensitivity and influence of interfering factors in the form of moving foreign objects.
