FIELD: industry branches in which cutting and perforating procedures of metallic and non-metallic constructional materials are used.
SUBSTANCE: process is realized due to placing between charges of solid fuel with different abrasive particles layers of heat decomposed organic material such as butyl rubber. Layer of the same material is applied on surface of wall of nozzle unit for guiding jet. Quantity of material subjected to pyrolysis consists no more than 10 mass % of solid fuel mass. In order to increase concentration of metal particles in jet of combustion product, 2 - 5% of metallic powders with particle size 50 -250 micrometers and density 5 - 8 g/cm3 are added to organic material subjected to pyrolysis.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of cutting and perforating constructional materials by means of jets of combustion products of missile fuels due to increased concentration and size of particles, optimal cutting characteristics of heterogeneous jets.
