FIELD: working metals.
SUBSTANCE: press comprises tool secured to the top and bottom fastening plates. One of the plates is provided with slide that bears on unmovable member via at least one piston unit of the slide drive. The unmovable member is rigidly connected with the unmovable member via at least two guiding columns. The unmovable member is provided with another fastening plate for the tool. The slide is mounted for permitting movement along the guiding columns.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
