FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pres equipment, particularly, to presses for pressing-in and pressing-out of wheels, brake discs or similar elements of railway wheel sets. Press comprises two blocks of piston cylinders to create press pressure and to displace wheelset axle, wheelset axle location device, for example, two locating tips. Pressure punches are arranged to transmit press force to appropriate end of wheelset axle. At least, one press counter thrust is arranged for wheel, brake discs or similar elements of railway wheel sets to rest thereon in pressing in or out. Connection props are arranged between press crossbars for counter props to rest thereon. Counter propos are composed of plain slideways to locate and displace, at least, one counter prop from initial position to that of pressing in or out.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions, automatic pressing in and out.
