SUBSTANCE: drum-type mill has cylindrical housing wherein 5-15% of lining plates comprise baffle equipped with rib set with its end onto supporting plate at an angle to plane extending perpendicular to longitudinal axis of mill, said angle being oriented to inlet opening or to outlet opening of mill and constituting at least 25 deg. Combined baffles define spiral configuration, continuous or intermittent with respect to plane extending perpendicular to longitudinal axis of mill.
EFFECT: provision for creating light-weight liner, improved quality of sorting out products, increased efficiency and flexible operation.
