FIELD: fixed rounds designed for fire from automatic weapon, mainly from automatic grenade launcher.
SUBSTANCE: an igniter is installed in the cartridge-case seat, the cartridge case is filled up with powder, sealing compound is applied on the ammunition body in the place of connection to the cartridge case, the cartridge case is press-fitted on the body, the igniter is installed after the cartridge case is press-fitted on the ammunition body. To prevent pouring out of powder, a porous stopper from combustible material, for example, calico or excelsior, may be also installed inside the cartridge case in its seat before pouring it.
EFFECT: prevented air compression in the cartridge case at press-fitting it on the ammunition body, prevented loss of sealing of the propellant charge, provided necessary safety of the round.
