FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: fixed round comprising a grenade with a nose fuze. The grenade body is filled with an explosive and fitted with a driving means having the form of longitudinal protrusions, equally distributed along the perimeter to engage the weapon spiral rifles. The grenade body is supported by a piston follower having a blind cavity that limits from above a propellant powder charge. Said charge is placed into a flange that is hermetically screwed with the case and wherein an initiator is secured. The longitudinal protrusions of said driving means are spiral to mate adequately with driving edges of the weapon spiral rifles. The front edge of said driving means protrusions is bevelled oppositely with respect to a bevel on the lead-in section of the weapon barrel. The base of the grenade has the shape of a downwardly tapered truncated cone that is tilted on its half-calibre from the end face at an angle of 15° with respect to the centre line. The grenade aligns itself upon manual barrel loading by orienting automatically with its spiral driving protrusions in the weapon barrel rifles.
EFFECT: improving the functional reliability and purpose parameters of the round for covert launching of long-range grenades.
