SUBSTANCE: method comprises balancing the gauge before testing, determining temperature coefficients of all arms of the bridge, determining initial unbalance of the gauge and its output signal, calculating equivalent value of temperature resistance coefficient of the bridge circuit of the gauge, determining the arm of setting of thermally independent compensating resistor which is determined from the formula proposed, and connecting the thermally independent compensating resistor to the working strain gauge in series.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy.
