FIELD: antenna engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the mirror antenna has the main axisymmetric parabolic mirror and a radiating element consisting of a waveguide and an auxiliary axisymmetric reflector with a hole for the waveguide. The limit ends of the edge of the auxiliary reflector in the focal plane are compatible with the limit ends of the first focal circular spot. The generating line of the edge of the auxiliary reflector is made in the form of a parabola or a broken line approximating it, the parabola focus coincides with the center of the waveguide aperture, and the focal distance of the parabola is selected within 0.4λ to 0.6λ, where λ - the operating wavelength.
EFFECT: enhanced amplifying coefficient.
