FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should cross lateral wall of duodenal greater curvature in cross-sectional direction towards the edge of hepatic-duodenal ligament, cross posterior duodenal wall along the edge of hepatic-duodenal ligament being perpendicular to pancreas caput, cross lateral wall of lesser duodenal curvature in cross-sectional direction and above duodenal papilla at mobilizing its edge at the length up to 3 mm. Suturing in should be started from the lower angle in area of lateral wall of duodenal lesser curvature to continue this process due to loose suturing the edges of anterior and posterior walls at developing a "hood" in area of the upper angle of lateral wall of greater duodenal curvature. Then one should invaginate "the hood" into the lumen of duodenal stump at applying the second row of intestinal sutures that enables to suture in duodenal stump hermetically.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
