FIELD: hydrometallurgy of noble metals; extraction of gold at heap leaching of gold-bearing ores by means of cyanide solutions.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes nodulizing of crushed ore at consumption of sodium cyanide of 0.35-0.5 kg/t and concentration of 12-15 g/l; pile is subjected to aging for 7-8 days. Leaching of gold is first made with oxygenated water and then with gold-free oxygenated circulating solutions without addition of cyanide. Circulating solutions have pH= 8-10, CNaCN=0.1-0.2 g/l. Proposed method ensures high daily concentration of gold in production solutions of about 4-22 mg/l including increase of extraction of gold by 80-85%. Effect of irreversible adsorption of gold cyanide from production solutions is considerably reduced.
EFFECT: high rate of dissolving; increased degree of gold extraction; enhanced ecological parameters.
