FIELD: hydrometallurgy of noble metals; extraction of gold from quartzite and oxide-bearing ores by leaching gold from ore piles by means of cyanides.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes laying ore on base section by section; sections are separated by means of waterproofed strips; separate sections are used autonomously; each section is provided with separate perforated pipe for accumulation of solutions. Leaching is performed in sections in turn. First rich gold-containing solutions (3-22 g/m3) are discharged from sections at level of drainage layer and then lean solutions at concentration of gold of 0-3 g/m3. As rich production solutions are obtained in first section in mode of intensive leaching, second section is filled with ore. Waterproofed strip between sections made at level of drainage layer excludes mixing of solutions discharged from adjacent sections. Lean solutions at concentration of gold of 0-3 g/m3 are received and are directed for sprinkling new section of pile. Volume of circulating solutions is reduced due to section-by-section use of sections (as they are filled).
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of leaching; reduced volume of production solutions; enhanced ecological safety.
