DEVICE FOR READING PAPILLARY PATTERNS AND GENERATING, TRANSFORMING, STORING AND TRANSMITTING CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AND METHOD FOR USING SAID DEVICE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC G06K9/00 G06F9/50

Abstract RU 2268489 C2

FIELD: technologies for reading and transmitting papillary pattern images.

SUBSTANCE: device has interface, built-in energy-independent memory and device for reading papillary patterns. Device also has random numbers generator, additional energy-independent memory, while memory is integrated into solid circuit board with central microprocessor unit. Device uses algorithms for encoding and decoding or encryption and decryption, adding an image of papillary pattern, digitizing of papillary pattern, generation of papillary pattern passport, identification of papillary pattern, transmission of generated image through interface channel, receipt of key from random numbers generator, transmission and receipt of key via interface channel, opening-closing of interface channel on command from central microprocessor unit, in the memory biometric information passports are stored, key sets, passport-key match tables, user information belonging to protected category. Solid circuit board with central microprocessor unit is made with possible protection from outside access to memory elements status.

EFFECT: lower costs of production, higher manufacturability, expanded functional capabilities, increased functional reliability.
